I have a special place I go
when I need time to rest
It's there I wait upon the Lord
who'll hear each prayer request
It's there I raise sweet praises
to my precious Savior, Christ -
who died upon the cruel cross
to pay the awful price
for me to be forgiven from
each sin I've done below
as I repent, and ask Him to
let Grace and Mercy flow.
My special place is anywhere
that we can be alone
for there is where I come to HIM
before our Father's Throne.
When I arise to go again
I'm full of Faith and Hope
great Joy and Love
from heaven above
plus strength to help me cope
with all life's stress and trials
having confidence and peace
until I come again to be
with God at my special place!
