but that lamb grew...
and as she got older....
she became "independently bolder"
'til one day...(forgetting she must pay
for her sins..if she wandered away)
that poor lamb found...
she'd gone FAAAAAAR astray
I was like that poor lamb
lost in sin....
and I needed to be "BORN AGAIN"
then when I was....I could wear a big grin!
('cuz there's no condemnation for sin)
Although our Shepherd
has been a good guide
and so FAITHFUL....to always provide
whenever HIS sheep have a need
there are some
"wayward sheep" who won't heed
what CHRIST the GOOD SHEPHERD has to say....
"Please stay near me.....
so you'll hear Me...and obey
so you won't be like the lost sheep
who've gone astray!
John 10:14 "I am the good shepherd;
I know my sheep and my sheep know me--
15 just as the Father knows me and
I know the Father--and I lay down my life for the
sheep.
...... 27 My sheep listen to my voice;
I know them, and they follow me.
28 I give them eternal life,
and they shall never perish;
no one can snatch them out of my hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to me,
is greater than all; no one can snatch them
out of my Father's hand. (Jesus)
Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.
